Lodz, Poland - The University of Lodz has launched a new postgraduate course in anti-money laundering (AML) training for financial institutions to meet growing market and regulatory demands.

The “AML Analyst - Anti-Money Laundering” program is offered on a full-time or remote basis at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Lodz. Developed in cooperation with business representatives from companies such as Euroclear, EY, mBank, and Nordea, the course aims to address the current needs of the labor market, particularly in the banking sector.

The course’s strategic partner, Association of Business Service Sector Leaders (ABSL), estimates that almost 19% of business service centers in Poland are already handling AML processes. “The joint initiative with ABSL will allow students to gain the necessary competencies to operate effectively in an environment of changing regulations,” said Professor Agnieszka Kurczewska, University of Lodz Vice-rector for External Relations.
