SAINT HELENA FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS TO UNDERGO COMPLIANCE AUDITS - CALL FOR PRINCIPAL AUDITOR
The government of Saint Helena has launched a major compliance audit initiative to ensure that financial institutions on the island are operating in line with international standards. As part of this effort, Audit St Helena is seeking a Principal Auditor to lead the planning and delivery of financial audit engagements across various public entities.
Job Requirements
- Oversee the audit process to ensure it is conducted in accordance with International Auditing Standards
- Possess at least three years’ recent experience in external audit, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity
- Working knowledge of CaseWare and proficiency in IT skills are highly desirable
- Demonstrate excellent analytical abilities, strong communication and people management skills, as well as the ability to plan, prioritize, and project-manage workflow using their own judgment

- The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract for two years, with a salary range of £22,100 to £28,000 per annum
