Regional Breakdown

  • The majority of bank robberies occurred in the West South Central region, with 107 incidents reported.
  • This was followed by the Mountain region, which saw 337 incidents.

  • 14 of the 72 individuals involved in bank robberies were found to be users of narcotics.
  • 15 individuals’ race and sex were unknown due to non-observance by victims or use of disguises.
