Financial Crime Prevention Strategies in Armenia Receive Boost with EUR 630,000 Project

About the Partnership for Good Governance

The “Partnership for Good Governance” joint programme between the European Union and the Council of Europe aims to strengthen good governance in Eastern Partnership countries, including Armenia. About the Partnership for Good Governance Programme

The Partnership for Good Governance is a major programme that has been running since 2015, with Phase I (2015-2018) and Phase II (2019-2023) focusing on countering economic crime. This third phase will build on the results of the previous phases and aim to support further improvements in Armenia’s legislative and institutional framework against corruption, money laundering, and economic crime.

Funding

The project is co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe, with a total budget of EUR 19.3 million (80% funded by the European Union and 20% by the Council of Europe).
