Whistleblower Protection Laws Get Boost in Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

Strengthening Whistleblower Protection through Training

In a significant move to enhance whistleblower protection, a training session was held from May 16-18, 2018, in Ohrid, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The event, organized by Action against Economic Crime under the Horizontal Facility, aimed to equip state institution representatives with knowledge on approaches and best practices related to whistleblower protection legislation and international standards.

  • Public Prosecutor’s Office

These experts learned from a Council of Europe expert in the field of whistleblower protection, gaining knowledge on how to effectively implement whistleblower protection measures in their respective organizations.
