HAITI: COMPLIANCE REPORTING REQUIREMENTS GET BOOST WITH NEW ROLE
Introduction
GOAL, a humanitarian organization, has launched a search for a Compliance Manager in Haiti to ensure compliance with donor and government regulations.
Role Overview
The new role will be responsible for ensuring that GOAL’s operations in Haiti are fully compliant with rules and regulations. The Compliance Manager will work across all departments, including programs, finance, logistics, and HR, to ensure that the organization is adhering to its own procedures and policies as well as those of its donors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk
- Develop corrective action plans
- Conduct internal audits and donor compliance reviews
- Provide training as needed
- Visit field sites regularly
Requirements
- Degree in finance, compliance or a related area
- At least three years of experience in administration, finance, compliance or audit
- Excellent communication skills in French (English is an advantage)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience in dealing with institutional donors such as BHA, EU, UNICEF ECHO is an added advantage
