Key Responsibilities

  • Advising program teams on donor rules and regulations
  • Facilitating grant opening and closeout processes
  • Coordinating proposal development processes
  • Ensuring timely and quality reporting to donors
  • Driving vetting and due diligence process requirements of RI and donors
  • Supporting staff and partners in understanding donor guidelines and regulations

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Master’s level education in a relevant field or bachelor’s degree with commensurate work experience
  • At least five years of progressive experience in grants management and proposal development in international relief or development programs, including field experience

Skills and Qualities

  • Excellent writing skills in English
  • Strong knowledge of major institutional donors’ rules and regulations
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural setting
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage time efficiently
  • Leadership and management skills

Job Description

The Awards and Partnerships Manager will be responsible for leading and facilitating awards opening meetings, driving the in-country awards closeout processes, and participating in monthly BVA review meetings to discuss project progress and challenges. Additionally, the manager will oversee and build capacity on RI’s partnership framework principles, due-diligence requirements, and best sub-awarding practices.
