Key Responsibilities
The Compliance Officer will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of trade operations, market competitiveness, and compliance within the Turkish market. This includes:
- Serving as the compliance officer and board member/director: Oversee all aspects of compliance within the local market/region
- Initiating and managing local banking relationships: Facilitate the opening of new accounts and secure necessary local licenses
- Overseeing operational efficiency: Enhance the operational efficiency of capital flows, market pricing, and P2P advertising strategies to ensure optimal profitability and market competitiveness
- Designing and implementing procedures: Develop rigorous procedures, hiring strategies, and staff training programs to support trade operations and compliance
- Setting operational targets and KPIs: Conduct regular quality assurance to maintain high standards across all team outputs
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field: Such as finance, business administration, or law
- Minimum 3 years of experience in operations management: With a strong background in the crypto or fintech industry
- In-depth knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations: A willingness to undertake further compliance training as needed
- Proven ability to manage high-stakes operations and compliance frameworks: In a B2C fintech or blockchain environment
