Job Opportunity: Opportunity – Risk and Compliance Manager at Save the Children International
Save the Children International is seeking an Opportunity – Risk and Compliance Manager to ensure compliance and mitigate risks across its operations in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality approaches and systems to assess, monitor, and mitigate internal and external risks affecting the Gaza field office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop annual safeguarding plans for Gaza, ensuring stakeholder input, and providing monitoring and updates to the Risk and Compliance Director
- Track progress of risk actions, conduct fraud and safeguarding investigations, and coordinate investigator training
- Coordinate with a team of Safeguarding Focal Points to ensure standardized approaches are taken, best practices are documented and disseminated, and safeguarding expertise is built across the Country Office
Requirements
- University/college degree in any relevant field
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience with a minimum of 2 years spent working at NGO Senior Management level
- Strong personal organizational and self-management skills
- High cultural awareness
