Compliance Officer Responsibilities in Sudan: A Critical Role in Ensuring Accountability
In Sudan, the Compliance Officer plays a vital role in ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with Save the Children’s policies and procedures. This individual is responsible for managing fraud cases, identifying risks, and promoting compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Fraud Management: Support the Risk and Compliance Manager to investigate suspected fraud cases and ensure that all evidence is gathered and documented.
- Ensure that all corrective actions arising from fraud investigations are communicated to relevant stakeholders and tracked.
- Provide technical support to field risk committees and ensure that there is an updated risk register for field-level activities.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain an updated tracker for all risk, fraud, and audit findings.
- Support the team in any compliance work required while executing assurance-providing activities, risk assessments, fraud assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Build and maintain a compliance digital library for internal policies and work instructions.
