A leading financial services firm in the Cayman Islands is seeking a skilled Compliance Officer to join its growing compliance department. The successful candidate will report directly to the Compliance Manager and work closely with a team of compliance professionals.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have upwards of three years’ experience in a similar compliance role, with strong regulatory knowledge and excellent analytical skills. They must be reliable, hardworking, and able to build a great professional relationship with their supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Management
- Manage client due diligence, including record checklists and analyzing missing information
- Monitor the centralized system and update file reviews as necessary
- Work closely with the Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
Essential Experience
- Upwards of three years’ hands-on compliance experience (candidates with two years’ experience and file review experience will be considered)
- Regulatory Audit and CIMA Audit experience is an asset
- Experience working with software such as ViewPoint is desired
Personal Qualities
- Reliable and hardworking individual who can join a smaller team that is growing
