ZIMBABWE: COMPLIANCE OFFICER RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCED

Key Responsibilities
- Processing applications for insurance policies
- Reviewing and making follow-ups on insurance claims
- Verifying the accuracy of insurance records
- Drafting legal and regulatory documentation
- Liaising with various stakeholders, including:
- Insurance companies
- Legal professionals
- Regulatory bodies
Additionally, the Compliance Officer will be responsible for:
- Tracking progress on legal cases
- Drafting communications with third parties
- Collating and filing supplier Know-Your-Customer (KYC) documentation
- Performing administrative duties as assigned by management
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor of Laws degree from a reputable institution
- Be registered legal practitioners with at least two years’ experience in:
- Insurance law
- Commercial law
- Contract drafting and management
- Experience in both civil and labour law is highly desirable
