Job Summary
A leading financial service organization in Barbados is seeking an experienced and qualified Compliance Officer to join their team. As a key member of the company’s compliance department, this individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the organization remains compliant with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combatting the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct AML/CFT compliance reviews
- Suggest improvements to policies and procedures
- Ensure the company is fully compliant with regulatory requirements
- Assist in developing and revising product forms and disclosures
- Perform compliance audits
- Maintain an annual compliance audit schedule
Requirements
Education
- Degree in accounting, banking, finance or a related field
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in the financial sector
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of legislation and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
