Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the enactment and amendment of laws to ensure advisory of accountable persons on their obligations
- Conduct onsite and offsite inspections of financial institutions to ensure compliance with the AML/CFT regime
- Provide hands-on support to the compliance team during inspections, focusing on identifying areas for improvement and proposing corrective actions
- Conduct follow-up visits to verify compliance and implement agreed-upon actions
- Prepare inspection reports, including risk profiling and data entry into an electronic database
- Review and examine AML/CFT policies, risk assessment reports, and annual compliance reports from financial institutions
Requirements
Education
- Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, Finance, Statistics or Economics
Experience
- At least three years’ experience in the financial services sector, with one year in compliance
Skills
- Knowledge of international AML/CFT legislations and regulations, including FATF Recommendations
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
