Grants and Compliance Officer Role in Yemen: Fundraising and Grant Management

Geneva Call, an international humanitarian organization, has announced a vacancy for a Grants and Compliance Officer in Aden, Yemen. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all grant obligations and providing relevant support to the fundraising activities throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point person for ensuring compliance with donor obligations
  • Monitor the implementation of programs and track progress towards meeting grant deadlines
  • Provide analysis and oversight to ensure compliance with donor requirements
  • Coordinate aspects of relationships across the organization

Requirements

Education and Language Skills

  • University degree or equivalent work experience in humanitarian development areas
  • Fluency in English and Arabic

Experience

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in fundraising, monitoring, reporting, and grant management
  • Proven track record of working in a similar role with an international non-governmental organization (INGO)

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Highly organized individual with strong interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting systems
  • Experience working in a similar role

Confidentiality and Record Keeping

  • Maintain confidentiality of records and information on support functions
