The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Compliance Manager in implementing and managing compliance functionalities within the organization.

Key Responsibilities


The Senior Compliance Officer will be responsible for:

  • Conducting Legal Research: Conducting legal research to inform policy and procedure development, as well as reviewing and evaluating compliance issues within the organization.
  • Providing Advice on Best Practices: Providing advice on best practices in compliance attainment at an operational level to minimize regulatory, reputation, and compliance risk.
  • Developing Compliance Programs: Developing and implementing compliance programs, including training and awareness sessions.
  • Investigating Compliance Issues: Investigating and reviewing compliance issues and concerns.
  • Monitoring and Auditing Compliance: Monitoring and auditing compliance to ensure effectiveness.

Requirements


To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance or Auditing
  • 6 years of experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Additional qualifications in Compliance Management will be advantageous
