Job Announcement

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and perform internal audits to verify compliance with donor organization guidelines and other control procedures
- Review the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, identifying potential risk and compliance-related issues
- Work closely with senior management to promote a culture of risk management compliance through staff training, reviews of institutional systems, and proactive identification of potential issues
Additional Duties
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of important program documentation, including procurement packages
- Provide guidance on balancing rapid implementation with minimizing financial, reputational, and audit risks
- Mentor staff in detecting potential irregularities in procurement and sub-award processes
- Develop compliance tools and make recommendations to leadership on revising systems and procedures as needed
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, auditing or related field
Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in program operations, financial management, contracts and grants administration, program management, compliance or related business experience
- Experience interacting with senior management and leadership is essential
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong overall management acumen
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to work beyond normal working hours
