Job Description


As the Financial Institution Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and updating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, as well as NAFDA’s core values.
  • Developing grant disbursement policies for school transformation programs.
  • Managing financial reports, including income statements, cash flows, and trial balances.
  • Coordinating and auditing beneficiaries to ensure compliant financial operations.
  • Liaising with legal teams to support charity registration and MOU development.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Develop grant disbursement policies for school transformation programs
  • Manage financial reports, including income statements, cash flows, and trial balances
  • Coordinate and audit beneficiaries to ensure compliant financial operations
  • Liaise with legal teams to support charity registration and MOU development

Requirements


  • BS in Business Administration or related discipline; Masters in Finance preferred
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an NGO setting
  • Fluency in Arabic and English languages (written and spoken), French is a plus
  • Strong technical knowledge in project management, financial monitoring, and analysis
  • Managerial skills including organizational, supervisory, team-building, time management, problem-solving, basic counseling, negotiation, verbal, and written communication
