Unicomer Group, a key player in the retail industry, is seeking a Regional Compliance Officer to oversee Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) compliance across its entities in the region.
Key Responsibilities
As the owner of technical compliance functions and requirements, the successful candidate will:
- Provide hands-on support to the Regional Manager of Compliance
- Update the Compliance Manual and Risk Assessment
- Maintain internal policies and procedures
- Ensure changes are implemented and monitored
Additional critical accountabilities include:
- Reviewing compliance with internal AML/CFT policies
- Monitoring customer transactions
- Analyzing suspicious activities
- Submitting reports to the Competent Authority within prescribed timelines
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A graduate degree in AML/CTF Compliance, Law, Business, Finance, or a related field
- Relevant certification (ACAMS, FIBA)
- A minimum of four years’ experience in an AML/CFT compliance environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office
