Unicomer Group, a key player in the retail industry, is seeking a Regional Compliance Officer to oversee Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) compliance across its entities in the region.

Key Responsibilities

As the owner of technical compliance functions and requirements, the successful candidate will:

  • Provide hands-on support to the Regional Manager of Compliance
  • Update the Compliance Manual and Risk Assessment
  • Maintain internal policies and procedures
  • Ensure changes are implemented and monitored

Additional critical accountabilities include:

  • Reviewing compliance with internal AML/CFT policies
  • Monitoring customer transactions
  • Analyzing suspicious activities
  • Submitting reports to the Competent Authority within prescribed timelines

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A graduate degree in AML/CTF Compliance, Law, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Relevant certification (ACAMS, FIBA)
  • A minimum of four years’ experience in an AML/CFT compliance environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office
