Lesotho Communications Authority Seeks Compliance Officer

The Lesotho Communications Authority (LCA) is currently seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the position of Compliance Officer. This role involves monitoring and ensuring compliance with licence conditions and applicable legislation in the telecommunications sector.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and analyze compliance with licence conditions and applicable legislation
• Carry out inspections on service providers to determine compliance with licence conditions and legislative requirements
• Monitor compliance with terms and conditions of approved products and services
• Issue periodic reports on compliance issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent qualification
• Three years’ experience in a relevant area (broadcasting sector experience seen as an added advantage)
• High-level skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication
• Fluency in English and Sesotho (oral and written)
