Responsibilities
The Compliance Officer will be responsible for supporting the Country Office (CO) in managing risks, promoting a risk management culture within the office, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Specifically, the role includes:
- Supporting Risk Monitoring and Control: Supporting the Risk and Compliance Manager in ensuring effective risk monitoring and control, as well as compliance with high-risk areas and regulations not specific to given functions.
- Conducting Compliance Checks: Conducting regular compliance checks, reporting on compliance issues, and supporting the implementation of compliance improvement measures.
- Monitoring Registers: Monitoring CO registers related to risk management and compliance, including the Risk Register, Waiver Register, Recommendations Tracker, and Standards Operating Procedures (SOP) Register.
- Providing Training and Support: Providing training and support to CO staff on areas of expertise held by the R&C function, such as risk management, compliance, PSEA, Data Protection, Code of Conduct, legal, and complaints management.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role, applicants must:
- Have a bachelor’s degree or higher
- Have advanced working knowledge of MS Office and MS cloud services
