UGANDA: UDHA Seeks Compliance Officer to Enhance Financial Transparency

The Uganda Development and Health Associates (UDHA) has announced a vacancy for a Compliance Officer to oversee financial and operational activities within the organization.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with country laws, donor regulations, and organizational policies. The Compliance Officer will conduct internal audits, review field activities, and verify procurements to ensure adherence to guidelines and procedures. The role also entails mentoring and monitoring support to partners, as well as sharing recommendations from audit reports.

Requirements

  • University degree in Accounting/Finance/Auditing
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in compliance, finance, or auditing
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CIA, or CMA are preferred
  • Experience working with international donors and NGOs is an added advantage
  • Team player with excellent analytical, financial management, and evaluation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks

Job Location and Reporting Line

The Compliance Officer role is based at UDHA’s office in Uganda and reports to the Finance and Administration Manager.
