Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling the implementation of Acted’s processes in compliance with internal guidelines, donor regulations, best practices, and national laws. The officer will also develop action plans to mitigate identified risks, provide technical support to country staff, and assist with external audits and due diligence preparations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Internal Audit Missions: Conduct internal audit missions through a risk-based approach
- Implement Standard Guidelines and FLAT System: Implement Acted’s standard guidelines and FLAT System at the capital, area, and partner levels
- Support Risk Mitigation: Provide support to mitigate high-risk areas
- Contribute to External Audits and Due Diligence: Contribute to external audits and due diligence preparation and follow-up
- Develop Training Sessions: Develop training sessions, lessons learned, and best practices
- Ensure Transparency and Minimize Risk of Fraud and Corruption: Ensure transparency and minimize risk of fraud and corruption
Requirements
Education
- Postgraduate diploma in International Relations, Law, Audit, or equivalent
Experience
- 2-3 years’ experience in a relevant position, with regional experience preferred
Skills
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility in cultural and organizational terms
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Good command of English and Arabic languages
Terms of Reference
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary between €2000-€2200 per month, depending on education level, security level, and other factors. Additionally, the organization offers:
