COMPLIANCE RISK MANAGEMENT IN TAJIKISTAN: A TOP PRIORITY FOR ORGANIZATIONS
In line with the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan, local businesses have a dedicated Compliance Risk Management Function in place. Primary Goal of Compliance
The primary goal of compliance is to support the Board of Directors and Management Board in executing internal control and risk management strategies that prevent non-compliance from occurring within the organization.
Reporting Concerns
Members of the public can report concerns to the organization’s risk management department if they suspect any of the following:
- Violations of laws, regulations or instructions set by the National Bank of Tajikistan:
- By either the organization itself
- Or its employees
- Bribery and fraud involving staff members of the organization
- Unauthorized disclosure of banking secrets
- Money laundering and terrorist financing activities
- Conflicts of interest involving employees of the organization
- Other illicit actions
