A leading organization in Zimbabwe is seeking to fill a key position in its compliance department. The successful candidate will be individually accountable for establishing and embedding compliance within the company, initiating and facilitating corrective action where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a compliance strategy aligned to the organization’s enterprise risk management strategy
- Aggregate, maintain, and monitor comprehensive risk-based compliance plans and programmes covering all regulations and statutes governing the company’s operations
- Implement group policies and standard requirements pertaining to risk management
- Challenge OMLAC (the local subsidiary) to implement appropriate risk-based compliance management processes and procedures
- Act as a change agent to embed group policies and compliance plans in OMLAC
Compliance Responsibilities
- Ensure the company identifies, assesses, manages, monitors, and reports significant compliance risks
- Ensure adherence to and implementation of anti-money legislation
- Facilitate the development of appropriate compliance risk response strategies by OMLAC
- Assist with compliance-related audit findings and resolutions
Requirements for Success
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
