Nauru Financial Professionals Urged to Enroll in Compliance Training Courses

The University of the South Pacific’s Continuing and Community Education (CCE) department has announced a range of compliance training courses designed specifically for financial professionals in Nauru. These courses aim to provide individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

The CCE office provides a range of courses and programs focused on life skills and work-related content, including:

  • Basic literacy and numeracy programs
  • Computer literacy training
  • Software application courses
  • Basic Accounting program (6 weeks, $200)
  • Basic Mathematics
  • Computer Literacy – BEGINNERS
  • Primary Computing: Keyboarding skills

Flexible Start Dates

The CCE department offers flexible start dates throughout the year, depending on public demand. “We want to make sure that our students have access to the training they need at a time that suits them,” said Canon.

In addition to the above courses, the CCE department has announced specialized courses for financial professionals, including:

  • Minute Taker’s
  • Business Writing that works
  • Writing Reports and Proposals

With compliance regulations becoming increasingly complex in the financial sector, Canon urged financial professionals to take advantage of the training opportunities available through the CCE department. “Our courses are designed to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge they need to stay up-to-date with changing regulations and standards,” she said.
