Enhancing Compliance Training for Financial Institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina
European Union’s Support for Improved Security in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The European Union has awarded a grant to implement the “EUPA4BiH - European Union Police Assistance for Bosnia and Herzegovina” project. This initiative aims at strengthening security in Bosnia and Herzegovina by enhancing the effectiveness of institutions combating transnational organized crime, corruption, and money laundering.
Compliance Training as a Key Component
The consortium leading this project is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill National and International Long-Term Expert positions in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. One of the critical components of the project involves tackling financial and economic crimes, including their financial aspects.
National LTE for Financial Crime: A Critical Role
The consortium seeks a National Long-Term Expert (LTE) with extensive experience in:
- Financial Investigations: The candidate should have a deep understanding of investigative techniques related to financial crime.
- Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT): Experience in preventing and investigating money laundering, as well as combating the financing of terrorism, is essential.
- Asset Recovery: The ideal candidate will have expertise in recovering assets linked to financial crimes.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be nationals of Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Not have any contractual relationship in the past 6 months with any relevant law enforcement agency in BiH
