Compliance Training Resources in Philippines Now Available
As of February 23, 2019, corporations with a public interest are now mandated to have a compliance officer, as per Section 24 of the Revised Corporation Code. This new role comes with a rank of senior vice president and must be a separate position from the corporate secretary.
Upcoming Online Training Program
To equip these officers with the necessary skills, the Center for Global Best Practices (CGBP) will be hosting an online training program starting June 21. The Certification Course for Compliance Officers is an 11-session program that will run from 1:30 pm to 4:45 pm via Zoom and is open to the general public.

- Features a roster of lecturers and practitioners from CGBP.
- Upon completion, participants will be conferred the title of Certified Compliance Officer (CCO).
