Gabonese Capital Chosen as Hub for Central African Anti-Corruption Network

In a significant move to combat corruption in the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) region, the Gabonese capital has been selected as the seat of the Network of National Anti-Corruption Institutions in Central Africa. This decision was made during a three-day expert group meeting held recently.
The Meeting and its Outcomes
The meeting, jointly organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the Gabonese Centre for Leadership and Citizenship Education (CNLCEI), brought together experts from various institutions to discuss ways to strengthen anti-corruption efforts in the region. The workshop culminated in the adoption of key documents aimed at launching the Network of National Anti-Corruption Institutions in Central Africa, also known as RINAC.
