In celebration of International Anti-Corruption Day 2023, the Attorney-General’s Office and Ministry of Justice & Legal Affairs of St. Kitts and Nevis will host a press conference on Friday, December 8th at 10:00am to mark a major milestone in the country’s ongoing commitment to transparency, integrity, and accountability.

Attorney-General’s Remarks

Speaking at the press conference will be Attorney-General and Minister of Justice & Legal Affairs Hon. Garth Wilkin, who emphasized that this historic achievement represents a promise to citizens for a more transparent, accountable, and just society.

“As we mark the 20th anniversary of the UN Convention against Corruption, our nation proudly joins the global community in reinforcing its commitment to uphold integrity in public life,” said Attorney-General Wilkin.

The theme of this year’s International Anti-Corruption Day, “UNCAC at 20: Uniting the World Against Corruption”, resonates with St. Kitts and Nevis’ collective journey in combating corruption, according to Attorney-General Wilkin.
