Strengthening Financial Crime Investigation Framework

The government of Tuvalu has launched an intensive training program aimed at equipping professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively investigate and prevent financial crimes. This move is a significant step in strengthening the country’s financial crime investigation framework.

Certified Training Program

The ICA (International Compliance Association) certified course will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of:

  • Financial crime investigation frameworks
  • Information and evidence gathering methods
  • Testimony, statement, and interview processes
  • Report compilation
  • Cyber and open source evidential gathering techniques

The training program is designed for professionals in monitoring or investigatory roles who have completed an ICA Certificate in Financial Crime Prevention or Anti-Money Laundering, as well as those with 2-3 years of experience in a related field.

Course Details

The course will be delivered through a mix of online learning and live virtual classrooms, consisting of:

  • Seven virtual sessions
  • One live immersive scenario
