- Analyze shortcomings in laws and regulations concerning ICT to develop adequate tools to improve the cyber environment and combat cybercrime.
- Subscribe to regional and international conventions on cybercrime and cybersecurity.
- Examine and improve procedural powers for investigating cybercrime.
Specific Aim 1.2: Strengthen the Institutional Framework to Ensure Effective Governance in Cybersecurity
- Create a strong leadership and effective governance structure with clear functions and roles for coordinating and responding to cyber incidents.
- Establish a national cybersecurity structure, CERT/CSIRT, consultative committee on cybersecurity, and cyber-defence command and control centre.
