Financial Institutions in Serbia and Montenegro to Receive Compliance Training Boost

A new initiative has been launched to provide compliance training to financial institutions in Serbia and Montenegro, with a focus on European Union law.

Programme Overview


The programme is designed to support the development of trainers who can deliver seminars on EU administrative law, EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, and EU Intellectual Property Law. The training will be led by experts selected through a call for applications, which is open until July 18, 2024. The experts will design and implement the seminars from September to December 2024.

Training Needs Assessment


The training needs assessment was conducted by the Judicial Academy of Serbia (JA) and the Centre for Training in Judiciary and State Prosecution of Montenegro (CTJSP), with support from the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN).

The programme is funded by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations.
