Financial Intelligence Unit Seeks Skilled Candidates for Key Roles in Guinea
The Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) is seeking suitably qualified candidates to fill key roles in Guinea, as part of its efforts to combat money laundering and terrorist financing.
About the FIU
The FIU is responsible for requesting, receiving, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence reports and other information relating to suspected money laundering, terrorist financing or financial crime. The unit plays a crucial role in Guinea’s efforts to combat financial crime and corruption.
Available Positions
One of the key positions currently available is that of Financial Analyst, which requires:
- A degree in Finance, Management, Accounting, Management Accounting, Statistics, or completion of ACCA Level 2, CMA, CIA or any appropriate similarly recognized qualifications
- Three years’ working experience in a relevant position
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial and statistical information and prepare visual and descriptive reports as required
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Power Point
- Knowledge of other analytical software is also considered an asset
The successful candidate will be expected to work unsupervised at times and beyond the call of duty. Due to the confidential nature of this position, security clearance is required.
