In a bid to combat financial crime, Guinea is witnessing an increased emphasis on awareness and education. The International Compliance Association (ICA) has launched a comprehensive course aimed at equipping professionals with the necessary skills to identify, understand, and mitigate financial crime risks.

The nine-month course begins on September 16, 2024, and will cover a range of topics including:

- Investigating fraud internally
- Global investigation, prosecution, and recovery
Course Delivery and Assessment
The course will be delivered through award-winning interactive technology, allowing students to learn at their own pace and engage with virtual classrooms. Assessment will take place through:
- Three timed end-of-module assessments
- One written assignment with an industry sector focus
- A case-study based assignment

Eligibility and Fees
The course is suitable for fraud prevention and investigation officers, MLROs, risk managers, advisory and investigation roles, internal audit and regulatory staff, and law enforcement professionals. Students will need a good standard of spoken and written English and either a sound educational background or relevant work experience.
The course fee is £4,100 (approximately 10 million Guinean Francs), which includes ICA membership for 12 months. Discounts are available for group bookings, and students can pay in eight interest-free instalments or invoice their employer.
