Ireland’s Financial Sector Set to Benefit from New Banking Compliance Training Initiative

The Irish financial sector is poised for a new era of compliance training with the launch of the Diploma in Fintech Risk and Compliance, a level 7 qualification that addresses industry-wide challenges in the field.

What is the Programme?

The programme, offered by PAT Business School and awarded by TU Dublin, provides professional training in Fintech risk and compliance. It aims to equip compliance professionals with the core knowledge, skills, and competencies required to work in both fintech environments and increasingly digitized compliance functions.

Programme Structure

The 8-module programme will be delivered part-time over 24 weeks, with weekly 4-hour classes recorded and supplemented by pre-recorded content and reference materials. The programme is scheduled to commence on September 17th, 2024.

Benefits of the Programme

Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will be awarded the Diploma in Fintech Risk and Compliance and be eligible to apply for the designation “Certified Fintech Risk and Compliance Professional” (CFRCP). Continued use of this designation requires meeting CPD requirements set by the Compliance Institute.

Eligibility Criteria

The programme is designed for learners with a Level 6 award or equivalent, who wish to specialize in risk and compliance. For applicants without a Level 6 award, entry will be determined on a case-by-case basis considering fair recognition of education and training qualifications, periods of study, and prior learning.

Programme Fee

Priced at €4,600, the programme is eligible for Springboard+ funding, with details available upon request. Current members of the Compliance Institute are invited to register through PAT Business School.
