Key Responsibilities

Compliance Program Management
- Establishing and managing a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to all applicable changes in laws, regulations, and standards.
- Developing internal policies, procedures, controls, and systems for an effective AML/CTF compliance program.
Support to Executive Management
- Providing support and guidance to Executive Management on the furtherance of the Bank’s strategic objectives to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Risk Assessment and Compliance Training
- Conducting business risk/impact assessments as needed to support the various functions of the Bank.
- Developing and leading the implementation of an active and effective compliance training program to ensure all GBTI team members are equipped with the relevant knowledge and skills.
Regulatory Monitoring and Policy Implementation
- Developing and maintaining active monitoring of regulatory changes, both locally and internationally, establishing and maintaining an effective framework for implementation within the organization.
- Leading the effective implementation, administration, and review of policies, procedures, and charters in keeping with changes in legislation and the regulatory landscape.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, finance, accounting, economics, law, or a related field
- At least eight years’ experience in a compliance function at a senior level preferably in a financial institution
- CAMS (Certified Anti-money Laundering Specialist) or FIBA (Financial & International Business Associate) certification
