Compliance Training Resources in Georgia: A Must for Employees
The University System of Georgia and Georgia Tech require all active employees to complete the 2022 Annual Compliance Training as a crucial step in exercising sound ethical judgment and understanding their responsibility towards university policies.
Who Needs to Complete the Training?
- All active employees, including:
- Faculty
- Staff
- Tech Temps
- Retired-but-working employees
- Student employees hired on or before October 3, 2022
What Does the Training Cover?
The training modules cover a range of critical topics, including:
- Effective Global Engagement
- Export Control and Trade Compliance
- External Activity Reporting and Conflict of Interest/COI Attestation
- Identifying and Responding to Sexual Misconduct
- Data Excellence
- University System of Georgia Ethics Training
- Cybersecurity Awareness Training 2022/Your Role: Internet Security and You
How to Complete the Training?
- The training can be completed on a desktop or laptop.
- The training should take approximately up to 2.5 hours to complete.
- Employees are allowed to complete the training in stages, without having to finish it at one time.
Deadline for Completion
The deadline for completion has been extended to December 19, giving employees ample time to complete the requirements.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
Failure to fully complete the compliance training by the deadline may result in a formal disciplinary notice from the Institute.
