The Georgia Institute of Technology is launching its 2024 Spring Biannual Compliance Training on February 26, and all faculty, staff, and student employees who are active as of January 29 must complete the training by March 22. The two-module training program will take no longer than 30 minutes to finish and covers essential topics such as:
- Social engineering red flags
- Identifying insider threats
Training Timeline
Here is the training timeline:
- February 22: Active employees as of January 29 are enrolled in the training
- February 26: The training period begins
- March 22: The training period ends
- March 25: Softlocks to Georgia Tech systems begin for employees who have not completed the training

Enrollment and Reminders
To ensure only active employees are enrolled in the training, Human Resources partners and people leaders are advised to remove anyone who is not working or will not be working after January 29 from the HCM system in OneUSG Connect. Email reminders will be sent to employees during the training period as well as the lockout period, and managers will have access to reports showing direct reports who have not completed the training.
Disciplinary Action
Disciplinary notices will be issued to those who do not complete the training in a timely manner, and softlocks to Georgia Tech systems will be implemented much sooner this year. Resources are available to help employees with the training, including:
- FAQs
- Manager ethics and compliance reports
- Instructions on removing an employee from the HCM system
- A page for requesting help or reporting issues related to the training course
