2022 Annual Compliance Training: A Mandate for Georgia Tech Employees

Promoting Ethical Behavior and Policy Compliance

As part of its commitment to promoting ethical behavior and ensuring compliance with University System of Georgia policies, the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) is requiring all active employees to complete the 2022 Annual Compliance Training by December 19. This training is designed to equip employees with the knowledge and skills necessary to exercise sound judgment, act with integrity, and understand their responsibilities in regards to policy compliance.

Overview of the Training Program

The comprehensive training program includes seven modules, covering a range of topics such as:

  • Effective global engagement
  • Export control and trade compliance
  • External activity reporting
  • Identifying and responding to sexual misconduct
  • Data excellence
  • University ethics
  • Cybersecurity awareness

The training can be completed on desktop or laptop computers, and employees are advised to set aside up to 2.5 hours to complete all modules.

Key Features of the Training Program

This year’s training includes additional modules compared to previous years. Employees are not required to finish the training in one sitting, but those who do not fully complete the requirements by the deadline may receive a formal disciplinary notice from the Institute.
