Georgia Tech Employees Required to Complete 2024 Spring Compliance Training by March 22
Atlanta, GA - Important Update from Georgia Institute of Technology
The University System of Georgia (USG) and Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) are set to conduct its biannual compliance training for employees in the spring of 2024. As per General Counsel Danette Joslyn-Gaul’s announcement, all faculty, staff, and students who were active as of January 29 will be required to complete the training by March 22 at 11:59 PM EDT.
Training Module Details
The two-part training module consists of:
- 2024 Social Engineering Red Flags: This part aims to educate employees on recognizing potential security threats.
- Identifying Insider Threats: This section focuses on identifying and preventing insider threats within the Institute.
The entire training is expected to take no more than 30 minutes to complete. The training can be accessed from any desktop or laptop at any time before the deadline.
Important Reminders
- Deadline: March 22 at 11:59 PM EDT
- Mandatory: Compliance training is required for all employees, as per USG regulations.
- Consequences: Failure to complete the training by the deadline may result in disciplinary action from the Institute.
