Governance and Compliance Officer Role at Parliament of the Republic of Fiji
The Parliament of the Republic of Fiji is seeking a highly skilled Governance and Compliance Officer to strengthen its governance structure. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and reviewing institutional plans, corporate policies, and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review institutional plans, corporate policies, and guidelines
- Provide secretariat support to various planning and governance forums
- Ensure high-quality policy briefs are prepared for policy development and reviews
- Maintain an effective records management system on policies and plans
- Coordinate and implement monitoring and evaluation systems
- Develop quarterly reports on the overall performance of the Parliament
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in commerce, business, management, public administration or a relevant discipline from a recognized institution
- More than three years’ experience in corporate services with expertise in:
- Strategic planning
- Monitoring and evaluation
- Policy-level analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Demonstrate initiative to develop innovative processes and systems

External stakeholders include other ministries and departments and other parliaments.
Salary and Benefits
