Intertek Approved to Provide Certificate Services for Gabon’s Conformity Assessment Programme

Gabon’s Agence Gabonnaise de Normalisation (AGANOR) has announced the implementation of its new Conformity Assessment Programme, PROGEC, effective August 1st, 2015. As part of this initiative, Intertek GTS has been approved to provide certification services to exporters in Gabon.

What is PROGEC?

PROGEC aims to ensure that all regulated products entering the country comply with applicable national, regional or international standards and technical regulations, protecting the health, safety, and environment of Gabon’s citizens. Starting August 1st, it will be mandatory for exporters to obtain a Certificate of Conformity from Intertek for Customs clearance purposes.
