Country Transparency and Compliance Officer Role

As part of its efforts to ensure transparency and accountability in Moldova, ACTED is seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate to fill the role of Country Transparency and Compliance Officer. This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with ACTED’s guidelines, donor regulations, best practices, and national laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal audit missions through a risk management approach to ensure compliance with ACTED’s standard guidelines and FLAT System at the capital, area, and partner levels
  • Provide technical support for donor external audits and due diligences preparation and follow-up
  • Develop and implement action plans agreed upon with country coordination to mitigate identified risks and address priorities, budget constraints, and organizational context

Requirements

  • Postgraduate diploma in Audit, Finance, International Relations, Law, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of previous work experience in Audit (external and/or internal), Finance, Logistics, Administration, or Law
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, as well as organizational terms
  • Ability to work well and under pressure, with excellent communication and writing skills in English

What ACTED Offers

  • Salary between €1,400 and €1,600 monthly (before income tax), depending on level of education, security level, etc., plus a monthly living allowance of $300
