Luxembourg Tackles Financial Exclusion with Interactive Map

The Government of Luxembourg has been committed to supporting financial inclusion, and its efforts have paid off. The country’s inclusive finance ecosystem is now being showcased through an interactive online map developed by the Luxembourg Inclusive Finance network (InFiNe.lu).

A Key Player in Inclusive Finance

The map brings together 36 key stakeholders from the public, private, and civil society sectors, highlighting their expertise, activities, and alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. The goal is to stimulate financial inclusion and alleviate poverty among low-income groups.

“We are proud to present this cartography that sets Luxembourg as a key player in inclusive finance,” said Michel Maquil, Chairman of InFiNe.lu. “It showcases the dynamism of a sector playing a leading role in strengthening sustainable and inclusive finance, and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.”
