Risk Management in Finance: A Master’s Program in Albania

The Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel” and the Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna are reactivating their joint study program for a Professional Master’s degree in Finance & Risk Management. This program, now in its fourth edition, aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to manage financial risks in banks, insurance companies, market regulators, and financial intermediary authorities.

Course Description

The Master’s program is designed to train specialists in risk management, known as Chief Risk Officers (CROs), who can guarantee the success of financial institutions and enterprises. The curriculum covers in-depth knowledge of banking and insurance institutions, regulatory aspects, financial risks, and techniques for managing them.

The Professional Master’s program is 1 academic year, with 60 ECTS credits. The curriculum includes lectures, seminars, project work, and a stage (internship). The teaching process will take place in the afternoon to accommodate working professionals.
