Mauritius Steps Up Compliance with International Sanctions: UN Sanctions Act 2019 Enables Targeted Measures to Address Global Threats

This legislation enables the country to enforce financial sanctions, arms embargo, travel ban, and other measures imposed by the UN Security Council under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations. The move is aimed at addressing pressing global threats including:
