The Republic of Moldova has taken significant steps to strengthen its cybersecurity framework by harmonizing national legislation with European Union directives and adopting new regulations to prevent cybercrime.

Regulatory Developments

  • The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration requested adjustments to national legislation on the Council of Europe Convention for the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse.

Designation of Governmental Cyber Security Incident Response Centre (CERT-Gov)
