Monaco’s Financial Professionals Must Comply with Mandatory Certification Program
In a bid to enhance skills and uphold excellence in the sector, Monaco’s financial institutions are mandating their employees undergo compliance training through the Banking, Financial, and ESG Professional Certification program.
Eligibility
The certification is designed for managers, sales representatives, financial analysts, and market operators working in banks and asset management companies.
Course Details
- The two annual sessions will be held from September to December and January to April.
- The training comprises 44 hours of classes spread over 11 half-days.
- Candidates can choose between French or English language courses. A minimum of 15 participants is required for English-language courses.
Training Modules
The training covers two modules:
- One module focuses on technical and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects.
- The other module addresses Monaco’s regulatory specifics and ethics.
Registration

Exam Details
- The certification exam takes place exclusively at the International University of Monaco.
- Mock exams are recommended but not mandatory.
