Tanzania Shipping Agencies Corporation Introduces New Regulations to Boost Maritime Sector

The Tanzanian government has introduced new regulations to enhance the efficiency of port and maritime trade activities in the country. The Tanzania Shipping Agencies Corporation (TASAC) has been established as the regulatory authority responsible for overseeing shipping agencies and port operations.

According to the Tanzania Shipping Agencies Act, 2017, TASAC is mandated to:
